ANGER!!!! I'm as mad as Hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore!!!

This was from the movie "Network".  I watched it on You Tube last night for the first time in 30 years. Strangely enough it totally pertains to today and the state of affairs we are in right now.  We really do have to watch our anger though.  It IS OK for us to be angry but just because we are, doesn't mean we should sin.  We are not supposed to let the sun go down on our anger.  Makes sense to me.  How great would the world be if we didn't go to bed angry. I think if you are angry, or depressed, try skipping!!!

The HEARTof the problem is usually a problem of the HEART.

I first heard Kirk Cameron say this.  WOW!!!  How true it is.  Usually you can change your situation if you are willing to change your heart.  Here are a few tidbits straight from the Bible. (Different translations.)
A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but with a heartache comes depression.
How blessed is the man who fears always, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
My son, if you have a wise heart, my heart will rejoice as well.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 
There are so many passages in the Bible about the heart.  Lord give me wisdom and strength to soften my heart to others, and to keep a joyful spirit so my heart is always right and my problems will be to a minimum!

To talk or not to talk............that is the question?

Communication is so important in life.  Statistics say that marriages fail mostly for two reasons, lack of communication and finances.  Your marriage is failing miserably especially if you have no communication about finances!!  If you let emotions get involved with that type of communication you are probably in trouble.  It says in the Bible, Proverbs 10:19, ( I am paraphrasing), too much talk leads to sin.  You are wise if you keep your mouth shut. We need to learn to balance when we communicate and how much we say.  Lord help me to communicate in a way so as to tell the truth but not hurt anyone in the process.
