The FATHER , The SON, and The HOLY SPIRIT; 3 in one? How so?
I think this is one of the oldest and greatest mysteries of the Bible and God. All my life I pondered that question. Just this year it was revealed to me as to how this is possible. What is steam made of? Answer: Water. What is ice made of? Answer: Water. What is rain made of? Answer: Water. Jesus came down to earth in the flesh. Solid just as ice is. Steam comes up from a pot of water boiling on the stove. When it is near the pot, it is visible. Then it evaporates into the air and is invisible, like the Holy Spirit. It is definitely there but invisible. And finally Water itself is like God. It is everywhere. The dew in the morning, in rain, and even under the desert floor water can be found. God is everywhere but only reveals himself sporadically. Sometimes like in the desert, we have to search for Him. But if you look long enough, you will find Him. The only reference that I found in the Bible that puts these 3 together is Matthew 28:19-20. Jesus told his disciples, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." When was the last time I made a disciple??? Oops I need to get to work on that!! How about you? Lord please bless us all in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, so we remember to go out and make some disciples!!!

IS HAL REALLY GOD'S NAME???
Kids say the darndest things!! When my friend was little, and she used to say her prayers at night, she Always began with, "Our Father who art in heaven, Hal would be thy name...." Isn't that great? That's what she heard when people would say the Our Father!! I'll bet God loved that she would pray every night without fail!! When I was about 10, I had another friend who happened to be Catholic. I used to spend the night at her house after her family returned from Saturday evening Mass. One week, she had been bad and before sleeping that night her mother reminded her of the penance she had to do. She said, "OK Mom", and proceeded to take out a rosary and prayer card. She quickly briefed me on how to pray the rosary, and explained if we split her prayers for her penance, it would go twice as fast and we could get back to talking and having fun. Two true stories!! The cool thing is, these now full grown women are God fearing and God loving women. New Living Translation (©2007) When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11) But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." (Matthew 19:14) So even if your children's prayers are directed to "Hal", or your child needs help in doing their penance, KNOW that they are thinking of God, and God is with them!!

WORRY WART!!
What the heck is that? I saw a definition stating, “A person who worries or frets incessantly,”. Do you know someone like that? I DO!!! I even act like that sometimes. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (NIV-Phil 4:6) Calm down. God has it under control. Yesterday I stopped everything for just a few minutes and just sat and listened. It was so peaceful. If you want peace, just listen. God is there, but he speaks very softly so just listen. May God bless your day abundantly and give you peace!!!
