WOW 2015 is almost over!!!
A few years ago I started this blog and was diligent in my writing. I posted 100 entries, and someone said, "I like your writing! You should write a book." So I did. If you would like to check it out, you can click on it right here... "heidilucky.blogspot.com" . It's an easy read.
Also I wanted to take a moment to recap 2015:
BEST PART OF 2015 - I have a lovely granddaughter, (Just turned 2 years old)
WORST PART OF 2015 - I lost my brother to suicide.
With all of the ups and downs that this year has brought:
I am grateful to God to be alive.
I am grateful to ALL of the entertainers, activity directors, facilities, friends and families of everyone associated with Lucky Entertainment. My heart overflows with gratitude and love for ALL of you!!! Especially MY family.
I am grateful to all of the students, teachers, and especially my partner Mary at Ballroom City for all of their patience this year with me, my rants and lack of presence. I am so proud of everyone there for pitching in and making all of the upgrades to the studio. You ALL did a MARVELOUS job!! Thank YOU!!
I am SOOO looking forward to 2016!!!!

A few years ago I wrote the "Hi Dad" in my blog. It was on the anniversary of his death. I remember Dad today as he was in the Navy, and the Merchant Marines during the Korean conflict. I remember ALL Veterans, living or "Home", with love, and admiration. As messed up as this country gets from time to time, I know in my heart that it is because of these brave people that we are FREE!!! Thank you for your service, Love, Heidi

WOW..... Robin Williams.....
These are my 3 favorite Robin Williams characters.
If I were to have the privilege of meeting a star, Robin would have been one of my first choices!!
My sympathy goes out to the family of this genius. Dear Robin, thank you for sharing the gift of humor, compassion, and heart with the world. Our loss is heaven's gain, and you will be missed greatly.

Richard A. "Dick" Macdonald, age 83; Veteran US Army Korea; beloved husband of Nancy; loving father of Richard J. (Ashraf), Donald, Todd (Amy), Robert (Deanna) and the late Scott and the late Laura; proud grandfather of 7 and honored great grandfather of 7; dear brother of Jack (Donna) Macdonald. Dick was a member of Painters Union Local 194 and was the Captain of Austin High School Football Team 1944-1948.

Our thoughts and PRAYERS go out to Don as we hear the news about Laura this weekend.
God please take good care of Laura!!!Who was Laura??
Laura was Don's sister.
She was a mom...she was a daughter...she was a sister.
Laura was diagnosed with MS many years ago.
[MS - or Multiple sclerosis, is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord
(central nervous system).]
After much suffering from this debilitating disease, she was finally called home to be with the Lord. Don and family will miss her very much, and although it has been years since I have seen her, I hold very fond memories of Laura. We all know she is in a better place, and finally out of pain, happy to be reunited with those who have gone before. It is a comforting thought for all of those who are left here. We can not let you get to work in heaven without a proper send off!!! This one's for you !!
