Dear Father God,

I have started a journey to help the young people in my life according to Your word.

Thank You for sending these awesome people in order to do that! 

Isaiah 6:8 - KJV

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."

I get a little kid feeling inside like when being chosen for a team....secretly thinking, "Here I am, pick me!" 

Now that I have been chosen, I must be the best player I can possibly be, using all of the gifts You gave me!

Lord, please quiet my mind in order to receive You! Fill  my spirit with a lionhearted mindset! Keep the world from distracting me from my goal to be with You and help me to be the best player on Your team that I can possibly be! I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen!!

Salute to our Veterans...

To our men and women in uniform, past, present, and future, God bless you and thank you for our freedom!

Dear Lord,

We have made it yet to another Veterans Day! Dad was so proud to be an American. I know he loved the V.F.W. and American Legion. It was a place to gather with like minded people who served in the military.

I remember Dad saying, "There are no atheists in foxholes"! 

“(A Psalm of David.) Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:” 144:1 KJV

God, thank You for all Veterans who have, or had, the courage to step up like David did! Please Bless all families of Veterans today and every day! I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen!

Respect for others' time!

November 9, 2020 | Letters to God!

Dear Lord, I am really having an issue today. It was kind of funny when I was younger when I would be on the phone with my Mom, and I would say, "Mom, I've got to go now!" She would reply, "Okay honey! Oh... I forgot to tell you...do you remember...?" Out of respect for her, (She was a great lady!), I would listen and sometimes end up late for where I was going. I am feeling angry at people when I tell them I have to go meditate and pray right now! I even respect them enough to tell them I will not be responding to their messages. 

I tell them I need to go spend time with You! They continue to ask questions and talk as if that means nothing! You come first! If people don't respect the time I need with you...

Lord, please fill me with the Holy Spirit and send peace. When people tell me they have to go, I believe them and say goodbye! 

I believe that is why both of my son's call daily. They know if they have to go, I will say, "Oh, okay! I love you! Bye!"

Matthew 7:12 KJV - "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."

Lord, please give everyone the understanding to respect other's time as I respect their time! (Especially when we need to be with You!)
